The Carrera Ski Racing Team unveils an impressive line-up of athletes who will take the slopes sporting the Carrera brand during the 2006 Winter Olympic Games.
 
Among the women focus on Sweden Anja Paerson, undisputed leader on the standing of the 2005/2006 World Ski Championship, and on Spanish Maria Jose’ Rienda Contreras, the Granada-born skier who is reaching brilliant results during the season. Also to follow are the performances of Italian Manuela Moelgg and Austria’s Alexandra Meissnitzer, Elisabeth Goergl and Andrea Fischbacher.
 
Among the men of the Carrera Ski Racing Team all eyes are on Michael Walchhofer, the Austria’s skier who won the Silver medal on the Downhill of the 12th of February and is on the top of the Overall Standing of the 2005/2006 World Ski Championship, the Austria’s Rainer Schoenfelder and Hermann Maier, together with Austria’s Stephan Goergl, Suisse Bruno Kernen, who won the Bronze medal in the Downhill of the 12th of Febraury, and Austria’s Felix Gottwald, who conquered the Silver medal in the Nordic Combined of the 11th of February.
 
Apart from Alpine Ski, Carrera sunglasses, goggles and helmets are protagonist also in other competitions: in Biathlon with juergen pinter, in Cross-Country with Austria’s Martin Tauber and Christian Hoffman, in Ski-jumping with Austria’s Thomas Morgenstern and Suisse Simon Amman and Andreas Kuettel, protected by Carrera ski-helmets and ski-goggles in their incredible jumps; while in Slalom and Nordic Combined we will follow the performances of Swedish Johann Brolenius.
