FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., March 1, 2005 (PRIMEZONE) -- Oakley, Inc. (NYSE:OO) said it will present at the Merrill Lynch Retailing Leaders Conference in New York, New York on Wednesday, March 23, 2005, at 12:40 p.m. Eastern Time.
 
Chief Operating Officer Link Newcomb will highlight Oakley's product diversification strategy and ongoing new product introductions that are driving the company's growth.
 
There will be a live webcast of the presentation available on Oakley's investor website at http://investor.oakley.com. For those unable to listen to the live broadcast, an audio replay and a copy of the slides and images accompanying the conference presentation will be available on Oakley's web site at http://investor.oakley.com beginning approximately 1 hour after the presentation on March 23 through April 6, 2005.
