CIBA Vision announced today that Luxottica Retail, the world’s largest optical retail chain, has named CIBA Vision as its “Contact Lens Vendor of the Year” in the United States.  CIBA Vision was awarded this title based on several criteria including outstanding customer service, marketing support and a superior product portfolio including CIBA Vision’s newest addition to the silicone hydrogel category, O2OPTIX™ contact lenses. 
 
"It is an honor to receive the Contact Lens Vendor of the Year award given by the Luxottica Retail organization,” said Karen Gough, president of CIBA Vision’s Americas region.  “We strive to offer our customers and consumers the most innovative products and services in the eye care industry and are proud to have our efforts recognized by our colleagues within the eye care segment."                    
 
"CIBA Vision has consistently demonstrated outstanding customer service and product innovation focus in the contact lens category. It is this kind of vendor support which helps Luxottica Retail to achieve our high levels of customer satisfaction," said John Doran, senior director of Contact Lenses for Luxottica Retail.
