Spy Optic and the Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) are pleased to announce that Spy has signed on as a National Sponsor for the 2007 Championship Surfing season. Spy Optic will be the exclusive eyewear sponsor for the tour and will have a presence at all ESA events this year. Spy will also be presenting the Psycho Beach Party at three tour stops in conjunction with TransWorld SURF Magazine.
 
"We are extremely excited to join the ESA family, especially on its fortieth anniversary. We have a great respect for the largest amateur surfing organization in the world and are looking forward to working with the ESA to expand Spy Optic's presence on the East Coast.
 
Spy has had a long history of supporting athletes and specialty retailers on the East Coast, and this partnership will strengthen and broaden those existing roots,” said Fran Richards, Spy Optic's Vice President of Marketing.
 
ESA's Executive Director Debbie Hodges remarked, “Spy Optic is a great fit for the ESA. They are a youth-driven company with excellent products and a roster of exceptional East Coast athletes. We are thrilled that they have chosen to join us in further developing the sport of amateur surfing.”
 
Spy Optic will also be presenting three special events with TransWorld SURF Magazine. The “Psycho Beach Party” will take place at the May 12th North East Region Championships in Hampton, New Hampshire, on June 23rd in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and on July 14th in Wrightsville, North Carolina.
 
The “Psycho Beach Party” will include competitions, special awards and prize giveaways, live entertainment and more. Stay tuned to the transworld website for updates and more information.
