Fisher-Price announced today a new licensing partnership with Greattech Vision to produce a line of high quality sunglasses for infants and toddlers. Launching at retail in Spring 2007, the two companies will offer two collections of Fisher-Price-branded sunglasses: Animals of the Rainforest and Little People. Each collection is designed to specifically meet the sun protection needs of two age groups: Infant/Toddler (0-3 years) and Toddler (2 1/2 - 5 years).

Each pair of sunglasses features Kid-Tuff technology including scratch and shatter resistant polycarbonate lenses, 100% UVA & UVB protection, durable, lightweight tech-nylon frames and a snug, comfort, rubber temple-fit. The new eye care line will be available beginning March 2007 at Wal-Mart for an estimated retail price of $6.97 each.
